Nick has been in love with Lacey from the beginning and he makes her an offer that may change their friendship forever. He offers to be her teacher and give her private lessons. Can Lacey accept the offer and have a best friend at the same time or will their hearts and bodies demand that they take the relationship to the next level?

Wow is the word that comes to mind while I read Ms. Rainey’s erotic tale of best friends discovering love. Touching Lace was a fast paced train that didn’t pull any stops. Nick was hot! He was very candid when he told Lacey what he wanted to do to her and how he would do it. His words and actions would have a nun squirming in her seat because they were so detailed. Lacey didn’t just sit back and let Nick be the only person in the driver’s seat by showing him that he wasn’t the only freak in the room. I enjoyed both characters because they didn’t beat around the bush about expressing themselves. They put everything on the table but they were cautious about each other’s feelings. This book was romantic and erotic with a little public play thrown in. This was my first introduction to Ms. Rainey’s novels and she can now add another fan to her list.
