As the noble daughters of Vildecaz, Ninianee and Erianthee each have their own magical gifts. Erianthee has the ability to create entertaining shadow shows. Ninianee’s ability to communicate with animals is well known but she also turns into a different animal during the full moon and to ensure her safety, that knowledge must stay hidden from everyone.

With winter coming, the girls have been spending their time preparing the castle for the long months to come. Author Camille Gabor has created a unique story with intriguing characters and a solid plot. I enjoyed reading this book and even though some of the descriptions left me a bit confused at times, I think it would appeal to the sci-fi readers out there.
