Stories to Make You Blush by Marie Gray is a collection of seven short, erotic tales.

City Lights is a story about a couple who move into a new apartment and discover that their terrace has a direct view of their neighbor’s bedroom which doesn’t have any curtains and who spends a lot of time entertaining men which in turn adds a little more spice to the couple’s lovemaking.

This story is written from the woman’s point of view so we never get her name but it is very sensual and exciting especially if you like a touch of voyeurism in your stories.

Feminine Impulse is the story of a woman who stopped looking for the perfect man and instead has found three men who each fulfill her in different ways that no one man could ever do.

This story has a bit of a twist in the end that caught me totally by surprise, but it fit perfectly. The tale is again told by the woman whom it’s about.

In Michael’s Birthday, when asked what he wanted for his birthday, Michael told Gabrielle that he wanted her in lace and heels, but when she said that he would get that anyways he told her to surprise him and that’s just what she does. As he’s waiting for Gabrielle in the hotel bar, a sexy woman shows up that he thinks looks familiar but he’s sure that he would have never forgotten such a beautiful woman.

This story is told from Michael’s point of view and gives a wonderful impression of a loving couple willing to go to any lengths to please one another. It was well told and very passionate.

The Roar of the Crowd is a tale of a woman whose sex life is fairly nonexistent until she is set up on a blind date with a great guy that is eager to explore her spicier fantasies and indulge her exhibitionism streak.

The buildup of sexual tension was well done in this short tale and the characters were both charming and interesting. I also enjoyed the little twist at the end.

This book also contains Midwinter Reverie, a story about Michele and Martin whose love life has gone stale until he goes out of town on a business trip after an argument they have had, then Michele starts receiving flowers and notes from a secret admirer.

I have to admit that this story has a rape fantasy that was a little disturbing to me but other readers might have no problem at all with it. The story was otherwise very well told with a little intrigue and passion.

Metamorphosis or An Ordinary Man’s Extraordinary Adventure is the story of Bernard who goes to bed a chubby, ordinary man and wakes up the next morning transformed into a Don Juan. Bernard is thrilled with his new appearance and the way women who would have ignored him before are paying attention to him.

And last but not least is One Woman’s Happiness. Alex and Peter have been friends for years and occasionally lovers after Alex divorced from her husband. Now Alex is having fantasies about her 20-year-old student but is afraid of being dumped after he loses interest in the older woman. When that happens after their brief affair, Alex finds herself pouring out her heartbreak once again to Peter.

This is a spicy tale that leaves the ending to your imagination.

Stories to Make You Blush is a very sensual book that is perfect for bed time reading. With its quick pace and easy flow, author Marie Gray makes it easy to get caught up in this book and either read this book story by story as I did or finish it in one sitting. 4 Angels.
