Midnight Encounters

Between her waitressing job, volunteer work, and college classes, Maggie Reilly never has time to enjoy life. A relationship is most definitely out of the question. To keep from being completely celibate, she has a lover that she meets up with twice a year. This weekend is one of those times, yet when she gets to the hotel room, it’s not her lover whose body she cuddles up to. Turns out it is Ben Barrett, a bad boy Hollywood actor who turns her world upside down. Ben is trying to get away from the press, after dealing with scandal after scandal. After this hotel room encounter, he can’t get Maggie out of his head. Determined to get her to stick around, he offers her a week of scorching hot sex. Soon though, he realizes that one week is nowhere near enough. Now he has to try to convince Maggie that they could be perfect together.

Midnight Encounters was a terrific story that had me smiling all the way through. Ben steals the whole story. He is charming, sexy, and real, even though he is an actor. I loved reading everything about him. Maggie, while maybe a little too uptight, was a great balance for Ben’s easygoing ways. Elle Kennedy has written a simple love story that is romantic and exciting and a must read for any romance fan. I wanted to be Maggie, and I definitely want a Ben of my own. They both have flaws, they both make mistakes, and those are the things that help make this story great. They don’t seem untouchable, and I could relate to them. I had a blast reading Maggie and Ben’s love story, and I look forward to more books by Elle Kennedy.
