Handyman

Will Spencer worked in a highly stressful job as a stock trader. He has thrived on the stress and the relaxation he found by partying all night with whomever he picks up. Things change when a co-worker drops dead in front of him and Will finds himself reevaluating his lifestyle.

Jack Crawford lost his wife two years ago and has just been living his life day by day. Will hires him to remodel his kitchen and Jack finds himself breaking his own rules by becoming curious about the younger man. But Jack has never thought of himself as gay. Can he overcome his own preconceived notions to explore this connection?

Woohoo! I loved these characters, I loved the plot, and I loved everything about this story. Claire Thompson is always a good choice for spending a lazy afternoon and she has really outdone herself with Handyman. Will and Jack were splendid together and I really enjoyed watching the evolution of this romance. Jack was an especial delight as he faced his feelings about his marriage, Will, and life in general. Will developed from a work obsessed, bed hopping, thrill seeker into a man anyone could fall in love with. The plotting was smooth and flowed from one scene to the next. The drama between the two was realistic and added that extra bit of flair that made Handyman such a delicious story.
