Hooked

Madison McIntyre is given the toughest assignment of her career; convince the small town of Westhaven that a new condo development is just what they need. A few of Madisons’ coworkers tried and failed and Madison’s boss has decided to send her. For Madison, it’s either get a contract or resign. Madison takes a new approach and decides to get to know the citizens, keeping her real agenda hidden.

When Dylan Edwards catches his first glimpse of Madison on his fishing boat, she appears to be just like his ex-wife and she’s just the kind of trouble this single dad doesn’t want or need. Dylan soon learns that first meetings can be deceiving and Madison soon finds herself wrapped up in small town living and loving.

Can Madison stop her boss’s attempts to get her fired? As she digs into her research she starts to feel like there is more to life than just work and maybe she is missing out. Can Dylan help her open her heart? Will getting a contract and keeping her job stand in the way?

Hooked by Kate Davies is a sweet contemporary erotica, but don’t let that fool you. Although Ms. Davies takes a slower approach to life and love in Hooked, the heat between Madison and Dylan is anything but slow and sweet! The emotions they have throughout their relationship are very human. Ms. Davies creates a warm feeling between Madison and Dylan that can be felt with each page. They blend together and complement each other. I would recommend this book for any reader looking for a quick warm read. I will be looking for more books by Mr. Davies!
