Star Prescott is a workaholic, an ill workaholic. A doctor recommends a stay at a deserted English castle as a means to bring her blood pressure down. While exploring the castle alone, Star accidentally walks through a time travel portal and ends up in 1962. The first person she meets is the not-yet-famous Colin Kendall. Colin was the lead singer of her parents' favorite band. Star was named after the band's most famous song.

Fighting her instant attraction to Colin, Star returns to her own time. There, she finds out the band no longer exists and her name is no longer Star. She knows she was the cause and feels responsible. Star decides to risk her heart and travel back in time again to set things right.

I picked up this novella by mistake. I don't like time travel stories. I don't like stories about rock stars. As a businesswoman, I really don't like stories about uptight, workaholic businesswomen. Thank goodness for mistakes. I loved Time to Keep. The characters drew me in, the plot had me turning the pages faster and faster. The ending was refreshing and oh-so-romantic. It charmed from start to finish. Time to Keep is a keeper.
