Queen of Carnage

Humans have a hatred for Supernaturals that spans over centuries of warring. They considered them the bane of their existence, until a new enemy called the Muurraah attempts to commit genocide on the human race. The bane has become a possible savior, when the Humans contact the Supernatural Alliance with a request for help. As usual, they are willing to gain that assistance through any means including kidnapping a Prince of Blood. A miscalculation has led them to abduct Jozef, the lover of Tigress. Oh, did I mention Tigress is the battleship commander of Queen of Carnage? Well someone should have told the idiot who thought up this plan who she was and how she obtained her nickname. Tigress is coming to kick butt and there will be no escaping her wrath. She wants the man she loves – there is no room for negotiations.

Michael Barnette takes us on a trip through space in Queen of Carnage. Tigress is fierce and determined when it comes to regaining Jozef. She has secretly loved him for years, but felt she would not be able to gain more than a willing lover. Jozef didn’t see the forest for the trees when it came to Tigress until he was facing death. The two make a unique D/S couple that I was fascinated with and completely surprised to encounter. Oh, but what a joy their bedroom play was to read. Those two make the ink liquefy and roll off the pages. Mr. Barnette delivers a well-written book with plenty of action, suspense, and a battle you won’t soon forget. I’m hoping there will be a sequel for this incredible novel.
