Nalini Singh has added to her Psy/Changeling series with Hostage to Pleasure. This installment is a fabulous closer look at the Psy Council and the machinations that occur at the highest levels. The plots within the plots that spur the rebels on are so fascinating. An already complex web of people, Psy, Changelings, and humans is added to even more with Hostage to Pleasure. I was amazed at the taming of Dorian. It didn’t really happen and yet he was softer. Ms. Singh did a very good job of slightly softening his edges for his mate. While Ashaya had numerous hurdles to conquer nothing tugged more than her interactions with her son. I am very happy to have been able to read this book and to have been with Ms. Singh since the first book (well, in spirit). I can only hope that I get to read the next one soon. The climax of this series is SURE to be a doozy.
