Prince of Passion

Prince of Passion by Donna Grant is the forth book in The Royal Chronicles Series.

It is winter in the Ben Nevis Mountains in the year 1270 and Keiran Sinclair is about to give up on his quest. The Sinclair men are under a curse from a Fae princess to leave their enchanted home, Drahcir, at the age of twenty-one to look through time to find their mate. They have to return within a specified period or Drahcir and all their people will cease to exist. Kieran has been looking the longest and with a few days to spare, he returns as close to home as he can get. At a tavern, Kieran meets the most beautiful maid, Gwyn. Kieran is surprised to learn that Gwyn is also from Drahcir, but when asked she refuses to disclose why she needed to leave their enchanted home. Once you leave you can never go back; unless it is the ruling sons sent to find their mates. They are immediately attracted to one another, but will anything come of it? Will Kieran find his mate and return to Drahcir in time?

Ms. Grant has continued her series with this action packed story. This story is a perfect complement to the eariler stories about Kieran's brothers. The mythical land of Drahcir in many ways reminds me of Shangrila in the descriptive beauty of the land and its people. The story is fast paced with one twist that took me completely by surprise. Kieran and Gwyn will need to keep their wits about them to find a way for Kieran to complete his mission and arrive home in time. Thanks go to Ms. Grant for another awesome story.
