Unfortunately, Cassie’s feelings just became stronger and when she saw Kyle and Alan together she did the only thing she could do, she left home planning to never return. Now Cassie is home to make peace with her past before she is married, but is the past truly over? How will Alan and Kyle react when they see Cassie after all of these years?

Ms. Dafoe has created an interesting story about learning that sometimes the past wasn’t what you thought it was. Sometimes people see situations differently than they truly were and change their lives accordingly. Cassie thought that Alan and Kyle had chosen each other, but was that really what was happening? Unknown to Cassie, Kyle and Alan had been as enamored with her as she was with each of them, but can the past be changed. As the reader gets into the meat of the story, it is obvious that there is more to the situation than meets the eye, but can Cassie, Kyle and Alan find a way through the misunderstandings and hurt feelings?
