Shining Victory

Stacy James loves cars, so it’s no surprise he ends up at a car show. What does surprise even himself is the fact that he punches some random bully, defending the honor of a twenty-something kid, Levi Wright. Stacy has lived a difficult life and has gotten into trouble before. So when he finds himself attracted to Levi his first instinct is to run for the hills, even though Levi seems like a nice enough kid. However, it appears Levi has problems of his own. Will Stacy get over his misgivings and give Levi a chance?

Written from Stacy James’ point of view, a Shining Victory is about a man who has everything he wants in life except someone to share it with. Because of his speckled past, Stacy finds Levi’s age a problem, as several years separate the two main characters. Levi is the kind of guy who works with his hands and maintains as honest a life as possible. Stacy is older and a bit wiser, which may make him somewhat bitter even though he tries not to be. Together Stacy and Levi are perfect for each other in every way. I loved how Stacy was older and perhaps more patient with Levi. The age difference, which normally I wouldn't care for, worked well. The author used it to the best advantage and created a great story. Shining Victory is a solid 5 angels for me!
