Too Far Gone

When Ellie Stuart was carjacked and her sons kidnapped, her world collapsed. Attempting to urge the police to assist her in finding her children, they instead suspect she had something to do with their disappearance. It doesn’t help matters that someone behind the scenes seems to be orchestrating events that lead others to believe that Ellie wanted her children out of the picture.

Navy SEAL Sean Harlan is heartbroken to discover that his tenant Ellie’s children have been abducted—especially since he was gone from the area attempting to exorcise the demons within that magnetize him to the beautiful single mom and her delightful children. Now, Sean will do everything in his power to help Ellie find her kids, even as he fights the growing attraction he has for her. Soon, they learn a secret organization may be responsible for the kidnapping… an organization that will do everything to keep Sean and Ellie from the truth, including framing them for the kidnapping, or silencing them forever.

Marliss Melton has written another winner with Too Far Gone. Like her previous novel, Don’t Let Go, this story has all the action of an incredibly Alpha, intensely sexy Navy SEAL who knows what he wants and isn’t ashamed to go after his desire. In this case, it’s Ellie Stuart, a struggling single mom who can’t fathom how or why Sean could desire her. Strong, independent and proud, Ellie is a heroine every woman can easily identify with and love. Her single-minded focus on finding her children is admirable and with Sean’s own fierce determination, their journey is certain to grip the reader’s heart.

With pulse-pounding action, nail-biting suspense and sizzling sexual tension, Too Far Gone is a book that once picked up, readers won’t want to put down until the last page has been read.
