Cin Craven is back again with Michael, her lover, Derek, and Justice. Cin and the rest of the gang are all vampires and members of The Righteous. The Righteous is a group of vampires that hunt and slay rogue vampires. They report to The Dark Council of Vampires. Besides being a vampire, Cin is unique for another reason. She is also a witch and known as The Red Witch for her red hair. The Righteous’s latest mission takes them to Edinburgh.

The queen, Marrakesh, also a vampire, has been charged with killing humans, a very serious offense. The group will have help from an old nemesis of Michael’s by the name of Drake. Cin will have her hands full investigating the queen in addition to fending off the dashing Drake’s advances.

Cin does not believe that Marrakesh is guilty of the crime she has been charged with. Michael thinks otherwise. Now for the first time Cin and Michael are on opposite sides with each other. Cin would be smart to heed this warning “Beware a woman’s fury as she knows no boundaries.”

Grave Sins is book number two by Jenna Maclaine to feature Cin Craven. Book one is titled Wages of Sin. I have not read Wages of Sin, but from what I could gather in Grave Sins the first book was really more about how Cin Craven was made into who she is today. Now having just said that, I still want to go back and read the first book, because I just fell in love with Cin Craven and Jenna Maclaine. Even if Cin was just a vampire and not a witch as well, she would still be pretty tough. All I have to say is that I never want to make Cin mad. Michael is really hot and sexy for being a vampire. In fact I thought all of the vampires were beautiful as well as handsome. I sat down to start reading Grave Sins and didn’t get up till I was finished. It was that fantastic. I plan on picking up a copy of Wages of Sin to read before the next book Mortal Sins comes out. This is one series I plan on reading for a long time to come. I gave Grave Sins the rating of five angels and recommended read!
