Hollow Cove is a magical community in a different realm from mortals. Once a year, a portal opens up and various paranormal creatures can pass through between the two realms. Every year, Booth passes from the mortal realm back to Hollow Cove, where he’s originally from, to visit his love and high school sweetheart, Celeste. She is a witch who is shunned by her family for her “faulty genes”. She can’t seem to make her powers work as well as they should. Booth is a werewolf who is also shunned from his family. He was the runt of the litter and because of this, he is looked down upon. Booth left Hollow Cove several years ago because of this and returns that one time a year for twenty-four hours to visit Celeste.

I’m completely hooked on this series and can’t wait for the next one! Tuesday Richards has written an erotic and magical tale of two lovers who only get to see each other that one night a year when Booth crosses between realms. Every year, both Celeste and Booth look forward to the day their lover returns for a magical twenty-four hours. The only catch is that this year Booth has made a decision that if Celeste doesn’t return with him, he won’t be back! The chemistry between the two lovers was so intoxicating! I fell in love with Booth right along with Celeste. I also really felt for Celeste and the hard decision she had to make of leaving her home and family; even though they shunned her, she still loves them. I only had one problem with Hollow Cove—it ended!
