Marti Bell is dreading the visit to her family during Christmas; it is cold and miserable there and no one in her family supports any of her life choices. With her work place closed for two weeks and her married lover busy with his other commitments, she really has no place else to spend the holidays. But after encountering a magical Santa at the airport, Marti ends up on Wherever Island with the hunky photographer Cliff Holmes. Cliff intends to get Marti to relax and live a little, but while Marti loves water; she knows better than to get into hot water with a player like Cliff.

What a fantasy! I’d love to travel to a mysterious Caribbean Island for a romantic holiday with a gorgeous man. Although I didn’t like Marti’s life at the beginning of the story, I do like the changes she makes when she steps up and reevaluates her life. Marti is smart, beautiful, and fun but she doesn’t recognize her own worth. Cliff clearly sees what a gem Marti is and sets out to show her how she should be treated. And the beautiful Wherever Island sounds like paradise, who wouldn’t want to go there. For an entertaining, fun and enlightening but quick Christmas read, pick up a copy of Christmas on Wherever Island and let your fantasy begin! Ms. Polo is a new author for me but I hope to find she has more charming stories to entertain me.
