Summoned by Lust by Amanda Sidhe is one of the best vampire eroticas I have read in a long time. Karma is the human servant to a vampire clan. One of the reasons she has survived so long is because of her telepathy which allows her to know what the vampires are thinking even before they do. She is sent to serve the scariest vampire of all. Razor is an executioner and vampires everywhere fear him. Once Razor learns that Karma can help keep his blood lust at bay, he decides that he will kill to keep her with him.

Simply put, I loved this short story. I love vampires who are dark, tortured, and scary and Razor fits the bill perfectly. Pair him up with a heroine who is smart, strong, and can handle him, and you get fireworks. Summoned by Lust is the vampire story I have been looking for, for a long time. Razor is just dominant enough and Karma does not just blindly submit. She knows what she wants and she does what she can to make sure she gets it, and to make sure she satisfies Razor while she is at it. These characters match each other in a way works for the entire story, and the sparks didn’t stop shooting. This novella delivers great erotica and terrific romance. I’m looking forward to reading more vampire stories by Amanda Sidhe.
