After losing his stressful suit and tie job, Ryan decides to take an easy job working at a gay resort in the Caribbean. The fact that he is straight is something he plans to try his hardest to hide. He wasn’t expecting to become a touch toy for the rich guests. He confides his secret to his roommate Sean, and learns that he can talk to Sean about anything. Once Sean meets Ryan he is convinced that Ryan is the one for him. He is thrown for a loop when he finds out Ryan is straight, but he doesn’t give up hope just yet. Ryan might be hiding more than just one secret, and Sean plans to find out.

The Perfect Cover by Claire Thompson was a fun, hot, and romantic story about two people who find love where they didn’t expect it. Sean is not looking for just a good time, which is what most of the seasonal employees come to the resort for. He expects Ryan to be just another guy looking for a sugar daddy. He is pleasantly surprised to realize he’s wrong. Sean is sexy, and quiet which makes him that much more charming. Ryan is a strong sexy guy who has had fantasies about men in the past, but he doesn’t think they mean anything. Until he meets Sean, and he realizes that Sean is his best friend and someone who can become more. I really enjoyed this story; it wasn’t just about two men who wanted to get as much sex as they could. These two really cared about each other and it showed. Claire Thompson has written a great story about two people overcoming many obstacles to be together.
