The Dryads’ Tower
The dryads have waited long for a replacement druid to move back into the tower and protect their grove, but it has been near 20 years and no replacement druid has been sent and the protections on their grove are waning. Not only that, but they can’t give birth without the help of a human male. They find the solution to their troubles in Navaar, a sex mage who came to the abandoned tower in their grove to gain its magic and make the tower his own. They offer him the key to the tower in exchange for his protection and seed.
Dylana, a human child born of a dryad and a druid, finally comes home to the dryad’s tower after finishing her druid training as her father wished, only to find an interloper living in her home. Never mind that he has been protecting the dryads and that he is sexy. This is her turf, and she isn’t willing to give it up without a fight.
This is an extremely erotic book and not for the faint of heart. Navaar gains his powers from all acts of sex, and the dryads capitalize on this fact so that they can procreate. The concept of this fantasy is unique. The magic actually is well thought out. The fantasy extends to the sex itself. I’ve actually never read anything like it. It isn’t for everyone, but it is unique. Navaar is well portrayed as a man who gains his powers from sex. He isn’t selfish about it either. Dylana as a half druid and half dryad is a fascinating character idea. The characters are slightly two dimensional, but the length of the story may be the reason for this. I would have liked to read more of the first few weeks Dylana and Navaar spent together. Otherwise, I recommend The Dryads’ Tower to those who are looking for unique erotic fantasy with unusual sex.
