Wolf Unbound

Wolf Unbound is a part of the ongoing saga of Lauren Dane’s Cascadia Wolves series. The story begins with a Cascadia Enforcer, Tegan, coming to terms with the death of her mate four years ago. Tegan has been mourning the entire time but is now ready to move on with her life. Deciding to go to the local BDSM club to celebrate her decision she is introduced to Ben Stoner. Ben Stoner is a local cop who has been working as liaison to the Cascadia Pack and the police. Even though Tegan knew of him, they had never met. What turns into a night of release becomes so much more when Ben and Tegan become mated. Something that the all too human Ben isn’t so sure about, he’s been burned before and has swore never to become that close to a woman again.

Tegan is a formidable woman, an Enforcer for her pack; she serves as a bodyguard to the Alpha. She is the type of woman that others defer to and she is confident in her abilities to lead those under her. Once in the bedroom, Tegan wants to submit and relinquish control, but only to someone she can trust completely. Ben is a career cop who is dominating in all aspects of his life. After meeting Tegan he is instantly drawn to her in a way that he has never been before. The BDSM scenes are written with such poetry that the delicate balance between pleasure and pain and trust and love shines through. The ongoing skirmishes between the various packs and the evil Pellini continue, with important revelations taking place that are necessary to the furtherance of this series. I cannot wait for March to get here when the final installment is due.
