Santa's Elf
Elfina Jeffries has a problem. She has serious case of the hots for her boss, Dayton Kringle, who she is convinced is completely unaware of her as a woman despite all her efforts to attract his attention. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Dayton is through with pretending that "his elf" is not a major turn-on and decides on a course of action to make fantasy become reality. It being the holiday season, Dayton leaves a provocative gift at her desk, a set of submission chains with a description of their uses…from "Santa". This sets the stage for the next 11 days of Christmas. Of course, Elf figures out almost immediately who her secret Santa is, and yet this does not slow the arrival of gifts, nor does it change Dayton's determination to hold off on actual intercourse until Christmas.
Somewhere along the way, lust turns into love for Elf. And despite Dayton's big speech about their sexual relationship not being a"real" relationship, Elf is pretty darn sure he feels the same way, that it's just a matter of him facing up to it. Unfortunately for her plans, Dayton is determined not to allow himself the luxury of these softer feelings. Elf discovers that Dayton's parents died when he was a child during Christmas and that he still carries residual survivor's guilt. The question is: can she give him enough loving acceptance to bring him out of that self-defeatist hole from Christmas past, and make him recognize their relationship as a wonderful gift of Christmas present?
Talk about a scorcher! In Santa's Elf Dayton Kringle has it all going on…a down to earth charm, concern for those less fortunate, a successful business…but most important here of course, a fabulously kinky imagination, and a killer body to back it up! He is tender when it counts, and yet a stern Dom when annoyed, or -unwisely- pushed by Elf. Yet his methods of punishments are more than many could wish for, and mostly convey his desire for her as his sub-at which Elf turns out to be a natural. Despite a few minor plot sink holes, Ms. Rain has created a very powerful, very sensual story. Santa's Elf is the first work of hers that I have read; I will certainly jump at the next chance I get to do so again. Don't forget the ice water, because you're going to need it! Five Angels
