Running from the man you love shouldn’t be so painful but Devin is slowly dying inside over her decision to let Erik go. Erik is everything she wanted in a lover, friend, and confidant and to top it off explosive in bed. His goodness however can’t fight the baggage Devin carries around; memories of her parents’ divorce have left her emotional state in ruins but Erik has decided enough is enough. He’s tired of being cast aside for mistakes he didn’t make and tonight he will make sure Devin knows how he feels and that he’s unwilling to wait any longer for her to come to her senses.

Erik and Devin’s story is pure erotica at its best. Already in love, Breaking Down is true to the title as Erik plunders through Devin’s insecurities to bring her back where she belongs, into his arms. Allmine created a sinfully delicious tale meant to titillate and excite the reader and she does that and more. Erik and Devin are so obviously rabid about each other it makes you wonder how she could have ever doubted their ability to conquer anything that came their way, even Devin’s own personal demons. I’m really interested in what else this author has to offer and I hope to see a couple of longer novels in her future because the erotic aspect is already worth coming back for a second glance.
