A Were-cat Christmas
Sam Carsters is all work and no play, and his secretary, Glynice, has decided that what he needs is a cat. Granted, Glynice is an older woman with good intentions, but what in the world is he supposed to do with a Persian cat?
Glynice has been worried about her boss, he has done nothing but work since she started working for him. He needs someone to come home to and care for. When she finds a cat stuck in the trash, she’s sure she has the solution.
Frankie cannot believe her luck, bad luck that is. She’s stuck in her cat form just before Christmas. Thanks to a meddling secretary she has been rescued from the dumpster she’d been trapped in, but now she’s got a floppy red bow around her neck and is supposed to be Sam’s Christmas present. It could be worse, she could be married off to the yucky guy her parents have picked for her.
Dakota Cassidy has taken a truly unique premise and crafted a fun story. From the moment Sam and Frankie connect to the very end, there is nothing but clever dialogue and steamy fun scenes. I have always enjoyed Ms. Cassidy’s witty writings and this book is another in a long line of fantastic books. I know what to expect when I pick up a Dakota Cassidy book; fun characters with irreverent attitudes and smoking hot ‘connections’.
