Sweet and Spicy Spells

Kisha has struggled with her confidence as a witch; it’s even worse that her sister, Priscilla, is the perfect witch. Where Kisha is petite and hard put to cast a simple spell, her sister is tall, voluptuous and the Cauldron Cup champion. When Priscilla takes action and asks Zack Kane to send help to her sister, a truly tweaked cauldron of spells, lusts, plots, and emotions is stirred up.

The brothers Kane have been known to break a few witches’ hearts here and there, but when Kisha and Priscilla are thrown into their paths, these two are hard-pressed to keep their ‘love-em and leave-em’ reputations intact.

Sweet and Spicy Spells was a great introduction to Renee Field and Christine d’Abo for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the interplay between couples and between siblings. The four characters shared the spotlight wonderfully and were entirely too much fun, if there is such a thing. The heat between Kisha and Foster is practically indecent, but then there’re the emotions that quickly become apparent. While Zack and Priscilla have their own chemistry, having known each other prior, they still steam up the pages. Kisha was probably my favorite of the cast. Her inability to see herself as a ‘real’ witch was understandable and it was fabulous watching Foster teach her a thing or two about her strengths.
