Double Dating with the Dead

Trent Sanders is spending the next two weeks in a rundown hotel that is reported to be haunted in order to prove that Selena James, a reported psychic was nothing more than a complete fraud. The book he was going to write from this little adventure would help with all the time he was wasting away from his TV show and would also be the perfect revenge.

Selena James was mortified when Trent went on TV and announced that she was delusional but even worse was when her mom challenged Trent to a two week stay in the hotel in her name. Now Selena has to prove the existence of ghosts to a complete skeptic in the two weeks they are together or face losing to her adversary and keeping up her end of their side bet with a night in his bed which wouldn’t be so bad if he wasn’t the enemy.

Don’t you just love it when you start reading a book and know by the start of the second chapter that the author will be on your auto buy list? That is what happened to me with Double Dating with the Dead. It is a fantastic story that had me laughing constantly while admiring the author’s talent in keeping my attention solely focused on every written word.

Selena and James are both highly enjoyable characters that provide a lot of entertainment and heat as they discover each other and the secrets of the old hotel.

Karen Kelley is an author not to be missed with her ability of infusing so much humor, warmth and intrigue into her stories that makes them so fun and easy to read.
