Jaynie was still upset with her fiancé Dean after he tried to talk and bully her into a three way with his best friend Landon but after he apologized and brought her a glass of wine she was starting to feel a little better until she realized that something was terribly wrong and someone at the frat party must have slipped something into her drink. Luckily for her Brian, her best friend’s brother was there and recognized that she needed help.

Years later Jaynie had thought that Dean had put his ménage fantasies behind him until she walks in on him and Landon with the bimbo neighbor girl. Jaynie leaves and heads to her best friends Kate’s house. She has finally fallen asleep when the doorbell woke her up and she hears Dean at the door yelling at Kate so she walk over only to have Dean tell her that he needed a real woman. With her world crumbling and her confidence almost non-existent, Jaynie finds herself going to Brian and asking him for one night to make her feel like a woman.

Brian has no problem giving Jaynie the one night she asks for, the problem comes after when he can’t get her out of his head and dreams. He wants more than the one night but first has to get Jaynie to see him as more than a friend and co-worker.

One of the Guys by Shiloh Walker is a sexy, tempting tale that is sure to delight. Jaynie is a strong woman that has been through a lot and reacts the same way many women would. Brian is a nice guy that would do anything for Jaynie and had me rooting for him throughout the story. The chemistry between the two is extremely hot and spicy as they explore the new direction in their already strong friendship.

One of the Guys is a terrific story with a strong plot, smooth flow and engaging characters that easily rates 5 Angels!
