Autumn Daniels has always been the impulsive wild child in her small town but after getting her heart broken by her long time boyfriend Matt when he walked away from her just as she was ready to spend the rest of her life with him, she vows to leave her impulsive side behind and move on with her life.

Now, after her husband’s death, Autumn has moved back home and the first person she runs into is none other than Matt.

Matt had put his dreams of the future out of his mind as he worked hard to make something out of himself and is stunned when he runs into Autumn at the grocery store. But as the sparks fly between them, Matt knows he can’t trust the girl who ran off with his best friend years ago.

What Lies Between Them by Jodi Lynn Copeland is an excellent, heartwarming tale that I truly enjoyed. Autumn and Matt are great characters that have a lot of history between them and even more heat that threatens to spiral out of control.

Ms. Copeland has penned a well written story with highly developed characters that are a true pleasure to get to know. I will be eager to read more from her in the future! 5 Angels.
