Metamorphosis by D.J. Manly is the fifth book in the Amusing Amanda series.

Amanda is a very rich and very unique woman who lives and loves by her own rules. Amanda loves hiring men from The Agency to come to her home to watch them in very intimate scenarios. She has even had a few of them live with her for a time. Ramsey is one such man who is leaving to find an older man who can give him all the things he never had growing up. Unfortunately, Hunter is in love with Ramsey, but his love isn’t enough to hold Ramsey- even though Ramsey feels the same way. On the other hand, Amanda is furious that Hunter’s Dad refused to acknowledge him as his son and is determined to rub the situation in his Fathers face. Two other of Amanda’s men, Scott and Ciel are having their own troubles with Scott in counseling regarding his abusive childhood. Scott leaves Ciel and moves back in with Amanda which sets into motion a chain of events that could endanger their lives. Add to this, Amanda’s desire to watch beautiful men in intimate situations with the entrance of an unusual and striking man that may be perfect for her. Come and enter into Amanda’s never to be forgotten world.

Mr. Manly has created and very sensual and intricate plot with characters that demand the readers respect and pull on their heartstrings form the very start. The men that Amanda takes in have different problems, but she loves and cares for them individually. All of their situations, while heartbreaking and poignant, are ones that are unfortunately seen frequently in present day culture. The only difference is that Amanda is willing to do what ever it takes to help her men overcome their problems and find happiness while adding a little spice to their lives. The world would be a better place if more people were willing to give of their time and abilities to help others the way Amanda does.
