Stanton and Anton

Stanton and Anton by D.J. Manly is the second book in the Wolf Saga.

Adam and Nicholas are in love, but their families have been feuding for longer than Adam and Nicholas have been alive. Adam agreed to be a virtual prisoner in his home to protect Nicholas. Nicholas is having problems of his own with the pack, and when his grandfather Anton, returns he learns that there maybe more going on than he ever thought. Anton is afraid that past mistakes could be repeated by Nicholas and Adam, and he is determined to prevent history repeating itself.

It all began sixty-three years ago, Anton’s father is determined that he take his place in society, and the first step is sending Anton to Middleton Private Academic Institute where all the society kids go. Anton feels like a fish out of water until he meets his roommate Stanton Lang who is the epitome of a society snob. Anton is immediately enthralled with Stanton who seems to feel the same way. Unfortunately, Stanton has many secrets that Anton needs to know the answer to, but every time he asks questions Stanton uses the age old methods to make him forget, sex and time together. Anton learns something that he isn’t supposed to and he becomes more embroiled in Stanton’s world, even though most of the time he is dissatisfied with their relationship. Will what happened between Stanton and Anton and repeat itself with their grandsons?

Mr. Manly has added a depth of understanding to the Wolf Saga by telling how the whole feud began. Anton is a very strong man who has become involved way over his head with Stanton. Stanton always got what he wanted and he never really understood how Anton felt about their relationship. Together they created enough heat to almost burn away their differences but not quite. The differences in society versus what people will accept from others is easily seen in Stanton’s ability to get away with actions that would be considered unspeakable acts if they were done by other people. I will be waiting for the third book of the Wolf Saga. Thanks go to Mr. Manly for another intriguing story.
