Sisters of Misery

Maddie Crane knew what it was like to be apart of the Sisters of Misery, and she knew what it was like to fell their wrath. And she knew that she would rather be with them then against them. How can someone with all the right connections feel like such an outsider? At least until Maddie’s cousin Cordelia LeClaire moved in with her. Cordelia was free-spirited and unaffected by the nastiness that surrounds her, qualities Maddie envied. But when the lead Sister of Misery, Kate Endicott, feels threatened by Cordelia, she decides to make her pay. Maddie didn’t have the courage to stand up to the Sisters of Misery, but will that keep her from standing up for Cordelia and herself? Or will she betray Cordelia in the worst possible way?

This book was so intense I had to put it down a couple of times afraid of what I was going to read. I really liked this book. The plot was electrifying, mystifying, and terrifying. The hairs on my arms were constantly on edge; I couldn’t help but be drawn to the book as I read more and more of its pages. Maddie and Cordelia were the perfect characters that can make a story like this readable.
