Sonny has a run to make delivering his special brew of Moonshine; that is until some idiot blows up the road he was to use to make it out. When said idiot stumbles onto Sonny’s camp, he has no choice but to take the man prisoner until he can get all his equipment moved. MJ is just a man doing his job; he didn’t expect things to go so wrong. When he wanders into Sonny’s camp he wants to be on his way but Sonny has other plans and the results of those plans are nothing that MJ could have expected. Who knew that when everything is going wrong it could be so right?

Sonny and MJ are like two sticks. When you rub them together the friction between the two is enough to start a raging inferno. I absolutely adored this story. Sonny and MJ are two great characters, flawed but completely likeable in a strange sort of way. One a surfer dude and the other a redneck, you would never picture the two together but the intensity of their emotions and the fact that the two can’t decide whether to kill one another or burn up the sheets gives the story an added bit of spice that makes it a delicious treat. The plot was fun and the characters quirky. There was a great deal of humor in the conversations and I found myself giggling out loud several times. I loved the action, I loved the humor, I loved the plot, and I really loved Sonny and MJ. BA Tortuga has really done it this time. Racing the Moon is a winner!
