The Archer
The Organization is in trouble. Traitors and spies are causing chaos and something has to be done. Their solution is to bring together six men, each highly trained and the top of their skill set, all to track down The Archer. From the beginning the assignment is a mess and the men will have to learn to work together to bring about the best outcome for both the Organization and themselves.
This book is packed full of yummy characters and a thrill ride of a plot that kept me guessing and almost had me dizzy with all the twists and turns. This is the first solo book by Abigail Roux that I’ve read. I’ve enjoyed her work in collaborations with Madeleine Urban, but this book really rocked my world. I’m not usually a fan of books with so many main characters but Ms. Roux did a wonderful job of giving the reader insight into each character and their motivations. I couldn’t pick a favorite from the six men, I like all of them, mostly the same. I will say that Remi has a slight edge over the others but just by a tiny bit. The intricacies of the relationships between the men really fascinated me and they were the main source of my enjoyment. The plot was good and the story was enjoyable as a whole, but the characters were the cherry on top of this delectable feast! I loved The Archer and only hope that we will be graced with more stories involving these lovely men. At 576 pages it was way too short!
