Chasing Her Dreams

Devin Fuller is a romantic novelist who spends her other time supplementing her income working at the Ebb Tide, a greasy spoon restaurant near the harbor. She continues to have dreams of a woman in white that leaves her with a headache and chills. It is the first year after her grandmother’s passing. She decides to take the ferry over and visit her grave. Unfortunately, a storm is brewing and the ferry is closed. She owes it to her grandmother to go to the cemetery since she was the one who told her to follow her dreams. A fisherman offers to take her over in his charter boat, but it will cost double. There is something familiar about this man she just can’t put her finger on. Kipp Sullivan makes a living chartering boats to help pay the bills. Devin wonders what the name Serafina on his boat means. He has no idea; it was there from the last owner. As they embark to the other side, the storm increases as Devin reaches the cemetery. When she starts to leave, she sees a woman in white above the cliff and a man standing with her. Devin must reach the couple but Kipp comes to her rescue. Can he help her to understand the meaning of the woman in white, and why she feels such a strong connection to him? Or is she chasing a dream that has absolutely no meaning?

Chasing Her Dreams is a rousing read that pulled me in like a net drawing in fishes. I was so mesmerized, it was hard to let go. I like the descriptiveness Stacey Coverstone employs in the storyline, giving the reader a good sense of the Maine area. She has enough compacted in this read, to even make a whole other book, if she so desires, and still not lose the reader. The introduction of Devin and Kipp gets right to the point of matters. I love stories that are concise, and leave nothing hanging in mid-air. Though some may not believe that true love can happen so fast, sometimes things happen for a reason that involves one’s destiny. This story certainly is one that makes the reader believe. I was completely swept away with this romantic tale.
