Nicole is a designer for a lingerie company called Satin Seduction. She wishes to pitch an idea for a full figured line to the CEO, Jake. Being a full figured gal herself, she knows that she can sell the idea. Little does she know that Jake has been waiting for the perfect opportunity to make Nicole his. He wants her to model her designs, but she’s self-conscious about her body. Will Jake be able to convince her that she is beautiful just the way she is?

Satin Seduction was a pretty good read. I thought the writing was smooth, making this an easy read. Nicole, while a beautiful woman, had low self esteem when it came to her body. Her ex-fiancee and mother did not help and I couldn’t wait to see how Jake was going to handle her. Jake was determined to make her come out of her shell. He was not about to let anything stand in the way between him and Nicole, including Nicole herself. He had some unconventional ideas to show Nicole the errors of her way. At times they made me uncomfortable, but they were very effective in letting Nicole know that Jake wanted her because he truly cared for her. I thought the author did a good job of mixing a little realism into the story without going overboard. If you have a free afternoon, I’d recommend reading Satin Seduction.
