Eye Spy

Private eye DB doesn’t have the client base of large business, but he always finds a way to make ends meet. His office has windows, a mahogany desk, and Jesse his resident ghost who is always available to remind him of his bad habits. DB, on the other hand, is due for a coronary from Jesse’s habit of popping in unannounced. They get along like peanut butter and jelly, which makes DB reluctant to tell Jesse the truth about enjoying his company and his help on cases. Their newest client, who brings them yet another Is-My-Husband-A-Cheat case, takes a detour from the rush to divorce court by a hospital trip for the husband. DB and Jesse want to know who really put their client’s husband in a coma and they want the answers now.

Jesse had a few decades to accept all the ramifications of being dead. His partnership with DB introduces him to a few interesting experiences he never anticipated encountering. DB’s primary focus is on keeping his business afloat. He blows a great deal of steam about having Jesse around, but his heart’s not half way behind the words he says. When their mutual desires come to the surface neither can deny their attraction. I absolutely loved Eye Spy. Mr. Drew Zachary mixes suspense, humor, drama, erotic play and a sexy ghost in the story and I was not left wanting. He has delivered a well-written book with characters that have a wonderful chemistry. While I never thought making love without the full ability to touch could be hot, Mr. Zachary not only shows it’s possible, but makes it incredibly sensual to watch. If you enjoy ghosts, private eyes, and mysteries then Eye Spy is a book you won’t forget.
