In Her Wildest Dreams
As a child, Shea Caldwell knew there was something wrong with her when she’d wake up in strange places, doing things that she never would do when awake and not remembering a thing. The sleep walking and strange behavior finally stops, and after years of no sleep walking, Shea begins to think that everything is fine. Until one night she wakes up to find herself in the basement with no idea how she got there or how long she’d been down there and knows that it’s started again. She intends to keep her night wanderings to herself, but when her important research papers disappear, Shea knows that she needs more help and turns to security expert Derek Oneiros for help.
Derek knows that something really wrong is happening with Shea. He can tell by how exhausted she looks, and he is determined to find out who or what is causing the sleeping troubles she’s experiencing along with who is trying to sabotage her work. But can Derek find out what is going on and stop it before anymore damage is done to Shea? Or is it already too late?
In Her Wildest Dreams is the second story in the Dream Wreaker series by Kimberly Dean. Shea and Derek were both passionate, intriguing characters that held my attention and left me yearning for more. The bits of Greek mythology that was woven into this tale added a dimension of tradition and history that helped give the book a more realistic feel. I will be eagerly awaiting more stories from this talented author’s Dream Wreaker series! 5 Angels
