One for the Team by Jet Mykles is an erotic non-traditional story.

Jen is commiserating the breakup of her boyfriend Alex with her friends Jason, Bart, Ken and Davey. They have all been close friends for years, and they all feel terrible for her. Jen has known Ken since college and talk about everything, and I do mean everything together. Alex taught Jen to love having sex, and now he is gone leaving her feeling empty, alone and wondering if she isn’t woman enough for a man. Davey brought up the preposterous idea for Jen to sleep with one of them. Jen can’t get the idea out of her head, so when Bart arrives with the outlandish idea to spend the day as her boyfriend, the day ends up with a night of passionate love making that she will never forget. Jen feels awkward going to work the next day because she will see Bart and the gang there, but things remain unchanged on the surface. For once in her life Jen can’t talk to Ken about what happened and how she feels about it. Jen ate lunch with Davey and the idea of sleeping with him opens her eyes to how handsome, even though different from Bart, he truly is. Their evening together finishes in a passionate scene. What is going on? Why are all of Jen’s closest friends suddenly looking at her with different eyes? How will Jen handle her new feelings for her friends?

Ms. Mykles has created an interesting story about how far friendship can go and what your true friends will do to help each other. It was fascinating to watch Jen as she approached each new situation with a willingness to try something or someone new. I found it interesting who each of Jen’s friends were so different for the others, but very steadfast in the loyalty to Jen. I loved how Bart, Davey, Ken, and Jason work together to help Jen overcome the depression in a unique and very pleasurable way. Thanks go to Ms. Mykles for another fun read.
