Day of the Dead

It’s been almost eighty years since Santos Diaz lost his fiancée. She died before he could bring her across the threshold of the undead with him and turn her into a vampire. Since then, he’s grieved for her death, but today, on the Day of the Dead, he summons the voudou guardian of the dead to bring his beloved back to life.

As Yelina visits her father’s grave she recalls the odd dream about her boss that compelled her to come to the cemetery. She’s been in love with her boss, Santos, for so long and yet he doesn’t seem to know she exists outside of the office. Rising from her kneeling position in front of her father’s grave, she’s surprised to see Santos coming toward her.

Santos sees his beautiful accountant in front of him as he crosses the cemetery to visit his fiancée’s grave. Pulling her into his arms, they experience forbidden passion right there on cemetery grounds. But soon, they’re attacked by a band of rival vampires who have death on the brain and Yelina realizes he’s one of the undead himself. Not about to play second fiddle to a long-dead woman, she resigns herself to a life without the man of her dreams. But this sexy vampire has another plan in mind…

December Quinn takes an already supernaturally charged day, Day of the Dead, and adds her own artistic license with voudou spells and vampire lore to create a unique, sexy tale. Not only is Santos sexy as sin, his eight-decade-long pining for his lost love makes the brooding vampire that much more attractive. Yelina, albeit a mild-mannered accountant, rises to the challenge with strength and aplomb as she experiences undead attacks, brutal deaths and carnal love with a vampire.
