Flip Allison makes the mistake of voicing her sexual opinions about Pride and Prejudice and Mr. Darcy’s nether regions within hearing distance of Austen scholar, Magnus Knightley. None too happy with misinterpretations of Mr. Darcy, Magnus gives Flip a piece of his mind. Flip takes refuge with a masseuse and decides to have her troubles massaged away. The mysterious masseuse encourages her to picture herself in her favorite book and magical things start to happen. Flip gives her own sexy twist to Pride and Prejudice in her supposed dream and things get hot. Only when she wakes up and goes back to real life, the book has changed to reflect what she imagined. Twists and turns and plenty of laughs are in the mix while she and Magnus race to fix one of the most popular classics before there is no return.

Not a dull moment is to be had in Seducing Mr. Darcy. Laughter abounds, sinister plots are afoot and nothing is what it seems. Flip is hilarious and realistic with Magnus as the perfect foil for her personality and presence. Pure sexiness seeps off the page. I found myself lost in the story and impatiently waiting to read what was coming next. Modern characters laced with the enduring presence of a literary classic make for a sexy romp through time. Ms. Cready’s characters jump off the pages. Her knack for witty humor and well-written characters will have me seeking out more by this talented author.
