Charity Langford is a busy woman, she works on keeping her family company safe from hackers, but lately something has changed and Charity can’t keep her mind on business and off of sex. It’s all she can think about. Unbeknownst to her she is a werewolf and she has entered her heat. Lucas Kendal is a P.I. that owes Charity’s father a favor and is trying his best to protect the intriguing Charity from their gathering enemies while resisting her scent, a scent that is driving him wild and making thinking difficult much less protecting her.

Twice in a Blue Moon is a fun little romp through the sexual adventures of a virgin who suddenly can’t stop thinking about sex. Charity was confused and a bit frightened by her newfound desires in the beginning and watching her come to terms and grow into her power was rewarding. Lucas is an alpha male, sexy and commanding but with a touch of uncertainty and self doubt that made him more intriguing as a character. The story is well written and contained an enjoyable plot with many nail bitingly tense scenes. The sensual scenes were not as explicit as I was expecting from an erotic novella but Charity and Lucas worked well together and the sexual tension made for some fun reading. I also enjoyed the secondary characters and would like to see a few in further books.
