Celebration for the Dead

Minx Rodriguez is a vampire hunter in search of closure. The only way she can get that is by destroying Perdue, the vampire that ruined her life and decimated her family. Off on her own in Mexico for the Day of the Dead Celebration, she’s hunting her biggest quarry alone. Can she survive?

Connor Bell is an Oathkeeper, a vampire sworn to uphold their laws and destroy those who break them. While in New Orleans he started a wonderful relationship with Minx, but ran scared at the first sign of a true relationship. Now he’s back and realizes how stupid he was, but is it too late? Can he find her before Perdue does?

A tale of vampires, humans, witches, and even fae, the Witches Knot series has been a wonderful group of stories centered around the Charvez Witches. Now Lauren Dane is branching out into their friends and other family members. Without lecturing or seeming to go on and on, Ms. Dane gives you broad strokes of the stories in the other books, enough that you feel as if you’ve known them all forever. She then shows you how a vampire hunter scarred emotionally and physically can actually fall for a vampire. Well done, Ms. Dane.
