The inscrutable demon from the previous books has been fleshed out into a gorgeous and fantastic hero. The guilt he’s been holding for oh so long translated into a great plot with angst and true selflessness. I was excited to finally read the story behind the Woede brothers and am frothing for the next installment. Kresley Cole has done a fantastic job of keeping the series fresh while staying true to the core world she outlined in the first book.
