Scream For Me
Special Agent Daniel Vartanian is back in Scream For Me, the newest release from Karen Rose. This book picks up where Die For Me left off so readers will have a better appreciation of this story if they have read Die For Me first.
Daniel has just returned to his home town of after a two week investigation into his brother Simon that turned his life upside down and is ready to get back to his life and his work. It’s just too bad that his job is death and there’s one waiting for him upon his return.
Daniel throws himself fully into the investigation to discover who killed a woman and left her body in a ditch, wrapped in a blanket. As he investigates further, Daniel is made aware of the fact that another woman’s body was found in almost the same exact way 13 years before and that the stack of photos he’s had since his own brother’s murdering spree might be linked to this murder.
Meanwhile, Alex Fallon receives a call that her cousin Bailey is missing, leaving behind her four-year-old daughter Hope, so Alex travels back to her home town in Georgia to pick up her niece and to search for Bailey. Her search for her missing cousin soon leads Alex right to Daniel and they work together to find Bailey and to discover why after being gone for so many years, someone is stalking Alex and determined to kill her.
First off I just have to say that Karen Rose knows how to keep her fans glued to the pages and on the edge of their seat! She has created a complex, multifaceted plot with rich, in-depth characters that made for a fascinating read. The intricacy involved in this story and the way it wove around seamlessly to the conclusion was phenomenal and was more than I could hope for. The evilness and immorality of some the characters in this book gave me chills and made me happy that the lights were on!
Scream For Me is a story that you won’t want to miss and a definite Recommended Read in my opinion.
