Angelic Desires: Appolion’s Story is a is an erotic prequel to the Angel Warriors book.

Cadean is not just a demon but also a harpy who is a bounty hunter for Hell. This keeps her busy and fits into her image, which she takes pride in. Her friend Lilith, a succubus, brought Cadean her next assignment, to find and return Appolion. Appolion was taken from Heaven by his parents, just like Cadean was, but he was expelled from Hell when he refused to deny his angelic side. Cadean has faint memories of Appolion from when they were both in Heaven, but she doesn’t know why she has been ordered to bring him back. Cadean is shocked when she gets her first look at Appolion, the most beautiful man she has ever seen. The temptation to experience more of his beautiful body is too much when she is tempted by Appolion himself. Is there a link between them and what will happen if they give into their attraction?

Ms. Hecht has laid the groundwork for her next book with this interesting and very erotic short story. I loved how Cadean had distant memories about Appolion, but her fascination about his situation left more questions than answers. Appolion is a big mystery that I for one can’t wait to explore. Cadean is a fascinating character who in spite of her hard surface has hidden factors in her personality that she has yet to explore. I will be waiting to see what Ms. Hecht has planned for her future books.
