With This Ring by J.M. Snyder is the fourth book in the Powers of Love Series.

Vic and Matt have been together for five years and Vic will do anything to make Matt happy. Their only difficulty is that when Matt makes love to Vic he instills different superhuman powers through his sperm. The powers vary according to position, emotions and other variables, except for their telepathy and Vic‘s superhuman strength. The problem is that some of the powers are very dangerous and they have to deal with them until they fade. The unthinkable occurs when Vic sees a story in a tabloid that talks about Matt’s ability in detail and tells all except for his first name, putting the fear of god into Vic and Matt. After a glorious night of love making, Vic wakes up with the power to burn whatever he touches leaving Matt feeling at fault and when Vic puts his safety on the line again Matt feels terrible. The next day out of the blue Matt receives a call from a Dr. Channarayapatra who can make all his dreams come true by taking away these powers. Can the doctor make good on his promises or is Vic’s skepticism correct? Will Matt and Vic accept his help or it is too good to be true?

Ms. Snyder has continued her incredible Powers of Love Series with this action packed story. I love how Vic and Matt’s closeness is enhanced by their powers of telepathy, which heightens not only their lovemaking, but allows them insight into each other’s lives. Matt doesn’t realize how much he needs the closeness he receives when giving the powers to Vic until those powers are gone. Vic’s love for Matt is tested when he faces the loss of these abilities, but in the end he realizes what he always has known: Matt is his everything. The love between Vic and Matt is put to the test, but in the end they prove that together they can overcome anything as long as they trust in their love. I for one will be waiting for more stories about the lives, loves and comical situations that Vic and Matt find themselves in. Thanks go to Ms. Snyder for another incredible book.
