Don’t Let Go

When Navy SEAL Solomon McGuire had orders to go into war-torn Venezuela and bring back American citizen Jordan Bliss, he didn’t question them. He obeyed them. To the letter. What his orders didn’t include was the small orphan boy in her arms that she claims she adopted. The look on her face when he pulled the boy from her arms, both of them kicking and screaming, was just about his undoing. After all, it wasn’t so long ago that he’d returned from a mission to find his own wife and child had vanished, and all traces of their belongings gone.

Since returning to the U.S., Jordan has been a wreck without her son, Miguel. A fierce resolution claims the young teacher who is determined to go back to Venezuela, find her son, and bring him home. After a tenuous truce between Jordan and Solomon, he vows to help her in any way he can to find the young boy. Amidst the truce, sparks fly. But while they may have a newfound love, nothing will stop the will of a mother who places herself in danger in order to get her son. The question is: will Solomon be able to save Jordan, and her son, before it’s too late?

I loved this book. Let me write that again: I loved this book! With non-stop action and strong characters that grip your heartstrings and your libido, I read Don’t Let Go in one sitting, riveted until the very end. I have to admit that while I’d heard of Marliss Melton before, I hadn’t read any of her work. Not only is that rectified now, but I just purchased the previous four books in her Navy SEALs series. If you want a wild ride with great suspense and tension-filled romance, Don’t Let Go is your book. I highly recommend it!
