Saphira Morgan paints in the old abandoned manor in the woods. She paints the faeries that are already on the walls but she changes the scenery and places the words Rousseau Manor to pay homage to the original author. There are rumors about the manor being haunted. Also there is a secret place within the manor called The Black Mask Chamber but Saphira has never found it. Her husband Ransom is upset that Saphira spends all her time there painting and wishes he never let her buy the place. For about a year now, Saphira has been receiving envelopes at all different times of the day with no return address and always when her husband is at work. The envelope contains pictures of him with his secretary, Kara Lacey, in pornographic poses.

Just as Saphira is about to pack up and head home a voice tells Saphira that the house was built for magick’s sake. The man is Charlie Newcastle who at age fourteen was convicted of attempted murder on a girl. He wants into the Black Mask Chamber. Charlie is told Saphira knows the location. He plans to kill Saphira as blood is the key to opening the Black Mask Chamber. When Saphira doesn’t make it home, Ransom goes to the manor, where he gets drawn into a painting and finds himself in the Black Mask Chamber full of faeries who have more than mischief on their minds.

First off I have to say Wow! Seduction of a Fae is just that good. Everything you thought you knew about faeries has just gone out the window. They may seem innocent as a virgin but that only applies to every other faerie not featured in Seduction of a Fae. Let’s just say these faeries aren’t going to be on Santa’s good list this year, well on second thought… if Santa is into orgies, finding ultimate pleasure, and all around mischief than these faeries just moved to the top of the list! You know the saying “Watch the wrath of a woman’s scorn”? Well they were obviously talking about Saphira. She knows just how to bring a man to his knees literally but in an oh-so-good way. I have just fallen in love with my first Raquel Taylor book. Warning: this Seduction of a Fae is so sizzling hot you may want to keep a tall cool glass of water by your side.
