Wanderlust
Anna Tietjens works for Wanderlust Adventures in New Delhi, India. She takes and transports tourists on overland routes less explored by the average traveler. In just a few days Anna and her co-driver Greg Evans will be taking a group to Agra. Just as the tourists are about to arrive the next day Greg comes down with cerebral malaria. This means Greg has to stay behind to recover and Anna has to handle a whole group of tourists for the next few days. The group is an interesting one with people like Lloyd Quinn who likes Anna and does not seem to know the word No; Elizabeth, Anna’s sister; Carmichael Hunt who looks could actually be Brad Pitt’s brother; and Thomas Montgomery. Anna finds out that Mr. Montgomery is none other than Sebastian Brady, Anna’s on and off lover going on one year. Sebastian used to be a mercenary for the army –Special Air Services. The group decides to play a murder game that has been played on previous tours. The rules are that one person is the killer and the rest get killed off one by one. The first one to guess who the killer is before the killer gets them wins. The game seems simple except someone is playing the game for keeps.
What a splendid read Wanderlust was. If you are looking for adventure, romance, suspense and plain old fun than Shelley Munro’s latest Wanderlust is the book for you. Sharpshooter Sebastian may seem like the quiet type on the outside but on the inside he is full of passion. Anna is the only woman that Sebastian wants or ever needs. This is just fine with her. When the killer comes for Anna, she is ready to meet them face on. Wanderlust takes the reader on a roller-coaster ride of a lifetime. Shelley Munro is brilliant in her writing style. I didn’t have a clue about the identify of the killer until they were ready to reveal themselves. I loved this fact as many times I have read books where I have figured out who the killer is half way through the book. I love not knowing until the author wants me to, or when I guess and my answer is wrong. Shelley Munro, my hat is off to you on a wonderful novel in Wanderlust.
