It’s been 100 years since Lan and Dark first became lovers. They have now joined the modern world where Lan works as security for a casino and Dark teaches at a reservation school. But the past is about to catch up with Lan and Dark; a mistake was made and now Lan and Dark will have to solve the mystery before their happiness is destroyed forever.

I love this series and with each book I grow to love Lan and Dark more and more. Both men are perfect when together. They strengthen each others’ weaknesses and the love between them is still palpable after 100 years. I liked that even though both characters had lived so long and grown so much over the years that they still had moments of self-doubt and vulnerability. This served to make them more human and only deepened the joy I felt while following their adventures. As always Kate Steele’s writing style was flowing, fluid, and not a word was wasted. Red Cloud Wolves 3: Facets of Night is a wonderful read and I can only hope that the series doesn’t end here but continues on for many more books. Facets of Night has left me with a fierce craving for more of Lan and Dark!
