(Breaking The) Virginity Rules

Sophie Shaw has come on vacation to Mexico to have a little fun, and that means getting rid of her virginity. She will find the perfect man to have her fling with and gain the confidence that eludes her even though she is twenty-six and has hardly any experience with men in general. All those techniques and sex talk she has read in magazines and from the women in her office will be put to good use.

Derek Larson is in Mexico with his younger brother. Derek is recovering from a horrible car accident that smashed his leg, ruined his face and ended his days in football. He thinks no woman will ever want to be with him because of his scars. But when a loose pair of bikini bottoms falls on top of his face, he is surprised to see his old classmate from high school. Sophie is just as surprised to see Derek. Derek used to be in the popular crowd while Sophie was an outcast. But almost a decade later, Derek likes what he sees, and asks Sophie out to dinner.

For the next few weeks, Derek and Sophie are inseparable. Could Derek be the perfect man to take her virginity and can Derek get past his accident and hope for a future with Sophie?

The Mexican vacation is the perfect setting for this story about a woman who wants to spread her wings and fly and that means in bed.(Breaking The) Virginity Rules maybe have a cliché title, but the story inside is quite an enjoyable one. It is always a pleasure to see the so-called ugly duckling bloom and meet the man of her dreams who has missed her appeal the first time around.

I enjoyed how Chevon Gael introduced Derek and Sophie and their relationship is a realistic one even though this is a very short story. When Derek and Sophie make love, it is intense, emotional and sexy. (Breaking The) Virginity Rules is one romance were breaking the rules means having the most fun along with some surprises in store that you may not see coming.
